Service Technician - Mechanical

An exciting opportunity has opened for a skilled Small Engine Mechanic (Service Technician) to join a close-knit workshop team. This is a diverse and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll use your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of construction equipment.

The Role:

• Service, maintain, and repair petrol, diesel, and electric equipment, including concrete saws, concrete grinders, wall and wire saws, hydraulic power packs, and remote-controlled demolition robots
  
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  
• Work collaboratively with a small, friendly team to keep equipment operating at its best
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance or workshop role, preferably in an industrial setting
  
• Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  
• Experience with diesel and auto electrical engines
  
• Basic welding skills
  
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
  
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
